John Simpson AIAAP-AIA
John is a local and family man with two children and four Grand Children and is very well known for his association with local Youth Football and other charities. John takes a great interest in local matters and is a very active member of the Great Yarmouth Lions Club which helps and assists those less fortunate within the local community. John commenced his accountancy career in 1968 at Birds Eye in Great Yarmouth where he trained for seven years before moving into the Oil Industry. After gaining extensive financial and commercial knowledge John took redundancy during the downturn in the Oil Industry in the early 1990's and started John H Simpson Accountants offering clients a bespoke service at realistic prices. John is now a Senior Partner of John H Simpson Accountants, which is now an established Accountancy Practice. The practice currently employs 14 staff, that still offer the same high level of experience and service. John started the current business over 20 years ago and has always modelled the business on offering a high level of friendly service at an affordable cost. This business module coupled with John's extensive experience in both financial and local business matters has enabled the business to grow over the last 20 years to be able to offer a full range of business and financial services.

 

Jane Ecclestone FMAAT-AATQB - Senior Office Accountant/Partner - 2001
Jane is a partner in the company and manages, controls and prepares company accounts, company tax, company secretarial, small business, partnership and property accounts, CIS, CGT, tax returns and VAT. She oversees PAYE employee workloads, training and office administration.

 

Lisa Beckett AAT - Accounts Office Manager - 1998-2003. 2012
Lisa manages and prepares draft small business, partnership, property accounts and tax returns. She oversees PAYE and employee workloads and training..

 

Lesley Steward - Senior VAT Assistant - 2008
Lesley manages all our client VAT returns, MGD, CIS calculations, drafting Line 50 accounts, oversees the VAT departments workload and training.

 

Carole Melton - Accounts Assistant - 2014
Carole assists with preparing draft accounts for small business, partnership, property, company accounts, personal tax and VAT..

 

Jade Wooden AAT - Accounts Assistant - 2008

Jade assists with preparing draft accounts for small business, partnerships, property accounts, company secretarial, administration, reception and payroll.

 

Dawn Abbott - Accounts Assistant - 2010
Dawn assists in preparing draft company accounts, small business, partnership, property accounts, VAT returns, payroll and CIS.

 

Richard Cullen (alias Richard) - Payroll Administrator - 2013
Richard looks after the payroll function of the business and is very experienced in this area.

 

Brian Ecclestone - Business Development Manager - 2015
Brian controls all aspects of the office administration systems, IT solutions, company administration, staff training, software analysis and any HR requirements. He is responsible for future company development.

 

Carrie Harvey
Carrie joined the company in December 2016. A highly competent and professional Administrator with extensive experience. Highly organised and efficient individual, who is thorough with a precise approach. Carrie will be responsible for client letters, company and small business secretarial, archiving system and client invoicing.

 

Elaine Slater - Part time Office Administrator - 2008
Elaine monitors and manages credit control and assists the payroll department. She has a variety of administration duties including small business secretarial, archiving system and client invoicing.

 

Caroline Brewster - Part time Office Administrator - 2000
Caroline performs secretarial and administration duties including client letters, small business secretarial, archiving system and client invoicing.
